This pizza dough recipe makes enough for two 9x13 inch pizzas. It's simple to prepare with warm water, yeast, sugar, flour, and salt. After mixing and kneading, allow the dough to rise, then shape it for your favorite pizza.
Mix warm water, yeast, and sugar together.
Allow this mixture to sit for 5-10 minutes to bloom.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
Add the bloomed yeast into the flour and mix until the dough starts to barely form.
Flip the dough out onto a well-floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until you have a smooth ball.
Put the dough back into a bowl drizzled with olive oil and cover with a kitchen towel.
After one hour, remove the towel and punch the middle of the dough.
Place the towel back on and allow the dough to rise for another hour.
At this point, you can divide the dough and make your pizzas or store it in a ziploc bag in the fridge overnight to use the next day.
If storing overnight in the fridge, allow the dough to rest and rise at room temperature before using.
