A delicious Pork Schnitzel recipe made with a few pantry staples that comes together quickly and is loved by the entire family. The pork loin chops are pounded thin, seasoned, and breaded before being fried to a golden brown perfection.
Pound out each pork loin chop until it is very thin, about 1/8 inch.
Season the pork with salt and pepper.
Set up your dredging station with three wide shallow bowls: one for flour, one for eggs, and one for bread crumbs.
Prepare a cast iron pan with enough vegetable oil to cover halfway up the pork when frying.
Take each thin pork cutlet and press into flour, shake off excess, dip directly into egg to coat all sides, then press into the breadcrumbs.
Set the breaded pork off to the side on a baking sheet and repeat until all are breaded.
Turn the heat onto medium-high, and heat the vegetable oil for frying.
Fry the breaded pork in hot oil one at a time for 3-4 minutes each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°.
Set the cooked pork schnitzel onto a baking sheet lined with a cooling rack and sprinkle with flaked sea salt while still hot.
Keep the schnitzel warm in the oven until all are done frying.
Serve schnitzel with fresh lemon wedges.
